The Chloe James Academy of Dance

The Chloe James Academy first opened its doors on 4th March 2000. It started off a small affair with classes for just three hours on a Saturday afternoon, but quickly grew and Saturday classes now run from 9.00am to 5pm covering all abilities and all ages from 3 to adult. Under Chloe's guidance, along with the support of her assistant teachers, the long-serving Miss Dina Sawalha, Miss Jo Goldsmith and more recently Miss Sarah Jane O'Sullivan, the pupils are invited to take medal and grade examinations. They are also given the opportunity to perform at the school's main show every other year and to enter various dance festivals and workshops. The children also regularly perform to entertain the residents at a local care home for the elderly.
